Italy v England in an overseas 6 Nations fixture

Creating the perfect mix   

GRS Roadstone like to take their top spending clients on an annual trip to watch England play in one of the overseas 6 Nations fixtures. On this occasion they wanted the event to be a mix of sport and culture and for it to be 'a bit special' so they came to PURE Co for some help.

Having worked with GRS Roadstone for a number of years we had really got to know them well; we knew their likes and dislikes and importantly what worked well for their clients. So when we saw that England was playing Italy in Rome over Valentine's weekend, we came up with a brilliant plan that would create an unforgettable experience and allow them to mix work with pleasure!

A touch of PURE Co Magic   

Our aim was to lift this event out of the ordinary and create something really special and unique. We proposed a stay in the glorious Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Resort and the icing on the cake was having former England Rugby Captain Mike Tindall host the whole event, which really hit the spot for the Rugby aficionados.  

PURE Co arranged everything, including flights and accommodation, private dining in the hotel, tickets to the game and transfers to and from the airport and stadium. Mike Tindall was a fabulous host, dining with the group on both evenings, accompanying them to the ground to watch the game and spending time relaxing over a few after dinner drinks. 

Every detail was attended to, including special touches like arranging for gifts of wine and chocolates to be waiting for the guests in their rooms when they arrived (cordial for the the ones who didn’t drink). In addition a PURE Co representative was on the ground throughout to ensure that everything ran smoothly and deal with any unexpected hitches.

A truly successful outcome 

This was an exceptional experience which really helped build relationships both within the business and with their clients. It was the first overseas trip that PURE Co had arranged for the company and they enjoyed the the whole event so much that they have invited us to arrange all subsequent trips including destinations such as Ireland and Paris.
